Meet the Maker

Hi I'm Lara, the one woman show behind Lost Stone.

I started silversmithing in 2017 that soon led to starting Lost Stone to keep my new found passion going.

My work is mostly big and bold and I use a wide variety of semi precious stones.

Growing up I used to visit my Dad's record shop in the middle of London's Soho and wonder the punk jewellery stores fawning over their giant warrior like knuckle duster rings and heavy chains. Not quite suitable for a 10 year old to wear but it certainly shaped my jewellery making style when finding my identity as a maker. That and my fascination with stones. The different colours and matrix from Opals to Turquoise to Moonstone... All my pieces are completely designed around the stones at their heart, whether it's one huge solitaire or an unexpected combination of colours and shapes. 🖤
